The World’s Biggest Running Motorcycle. The Gunbus 410.

Gunbus1Gunbus2One I forgot in my files…

You may have seen bigger that the Gunbus 410, but probably it was not a true running motorcycle, riding like a real life motorcycle…

It is manufactured by a company located in the south-west of Germany. Giant toy or not, all components are made using a mix of traditional craftsmanship and of high-precision manufacturing techniques.

Powertrain is a 2-cylinder 45° V-Twin (stroke of piston: 176 mm, boring diameter: 156 mm, compression ratio: 8,7:1.  3-gear sequential transmission with reverse gear.

It measures 11.6 feet long and is 4.9 feet high and rides on a massive 38-inch front and 42-inch rear wheel.

And of course you want to know the price.  Only $350,000!

Allan Millyard has made a similar engined bike – much better all round than this
and can be seen riding around the South Coast of England, when he’s not riding his Dodge V10 bike and his little Honda SS100 v twin, clever guy…

Article doesn’t say what the hulk weighs in at, but I’ll bet it is no fun in a parking lot. Especially with that high center of gravity. Let’s just say it is not for my close to the ground ass.

I could never buy one, but I’d sure love to ride one.

One of these would be the only way I’d ever ride a big wheel bike.

Agree with Sportster Mike that Allan Millyards bikes are way better proportioned, but when you just have to have the biggest, this puppy would do it.

It might “run”, but can it actually be ridden? Until I see video, it’s just a bit of art that happens to have motorcycle-like shape.
