Washington inmate smuggles tobacco, tattoo ink bottle, needles, smoking pipe in his rectum

This Washington inmate was a real pain in the butt.

Law enforcement officials in Wenatchee say a recent visitor to their county jail came with a cigarette lighter, rolling papers, a golf-ball sized bag of tobacco, a tattoo ink bottle, eight tattoo needles, a one-inch smoking pipe and small bag of pot – all stuffed inside his rectum.

Gavin Stanger, 24, was booked earlier this week on a disorderly conduct charge.

No contraband was found when cops patted him down, a jail official said. Ninety minutes later, however, a plastic bag floating in Stanger’s cell toilet got the cops suspicious.

After some questioning, Stanger surrendered the goods and received another misdemeanor charge. At least he won some admiration from the police.

“We were all wondering, ‘How do you put all that up there?'” one officer said.

“The tobacco was pretty impressive; it was a good ounce.”
