Family Friendly Matinee Comedy Show

Finally, a family-friendly comedy show the whole family can enjoy together in the middle of a weekend afternoon.  This show is designed for kids and families, featuring willing audience members and their creative suggestions, to build a once of a kind unique and funny experience! Two item food or beverage minimum per person. Guests must wear a face mask when entering The Comedy Arena, but can remove their facemask when eating or drinking.

Fire & Ice Winter Festival at Six Flags

Six Flags Over Texas is kicking off its 60th season with their new Fire & Ice Festival. The park is open on weekends and holidays during January and February. Guests can buy tickets for just $19.61. You have to get your tickets online in advance. The festival includes a live ice carving show, light displays after dark, and fireworks at the end of each day.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden

The Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) and Fort Worth Botanic Garden invites visitors to see their newest exhibit “Topiaries in the Garden,” running through June 30, 2021. Featuring 12 plant-based animal shapes, such as elephants, giraffes, and butterflies, the displays are sure to stimulate a sense of wonderment and fascination.

Perot Museum: Engineers Week

Recognizing the importance of training the STEM leaders of tomorrow, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science will kick off Engineers Week with several days of buildable, makerspace fun including engineering-themed activities, experiments, challenges, crafts and more Thursday, Feb. 25-Sunday, Feb. 28. Guests can explore the field of engineering firsthand with professional engineers and educators, enjoy interactive demos, tinker with VEX robotics and partake in building challenges, games and more. Outside, visitors can check out the science-on-wheels TECH Truck for experiments led by Museum educators as well as take-home activities.

The Stockyards Championship Rodeo

Grab your boots and Cowboy hat! This rodeo is back! The live and kicking rodeo is every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. (Friday...it’s “Free Kid Friday”...buy an adult ticket and get a kid’s ticket free!) It's in the Cowtown Coliseum. Rodeo organizers say you can feel safe as you watch the live rodeo action because they are enforcing social distancing and everyone has to wear a facial covering. Giddy up!

Zip Line Day: 

It’s an exciting outdoor adventure at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary's Ropes Course! During the Zip Line Days, guests climb a 23-foot tree to the zip platform then proceed to a 487-foot zip line. Purchase one ticket for each time you would like to travel down the zip line. Pre-registration is required. Suitable for all outdoor enthusiasts over the age of 10.
