Cops pulled over a Honda Odyssey for double-parking in Brooklyn — only to learn that the minivan had a special compartment stashed with drugs, money and a gun, police said Friday.

Odyssey owner Steven Lopez, 23, of Brooklyn faces drug and weapons possession charges for the stash found on Wednesday after a buzzing sound behind a plastic interior console led police to the hidden nook.

Plainclothes cops from the 62nd Precinct in Bensonhurst were rolling down 71st St. near 19th Ave. at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday evening when they saw Lopez running toward the double-parked minivan.

The cops stopped and were about to give the minivan a ticket when Lopez jumped into the car and sped off, sparking a car stop, police said.

As cops approached the vehicle, they smelled marijuana, and found three ziplock bags of crack in Lopez’s pockets, officials said.

That’s when they heard the buzzing: a dull, vibrating sound was coming from behind a piece of plastic in the center console, even though the car was off.

When they checked out the area with their flashlights, they could see several bags behind the plastic.

Cpt. William Taylor, Sgt. Jeremy Berson and Police Officers Thomas Citera, Christopher Santiago and John Wygand got a search warrant for the vehicle and found a hollowed out area containing two cellphones, cash, marijuana, crack, heroin, and a loaded pistol once the piece of plastic was removed.

All told, 410 glassine envelopes of heroin, 131 ziplock bags of crack, one ziplock bag of marijuana were recovered, cops said.

The sound cops heard was one of the cellphones left on vibrate, police sources said.

It was not immediately clear if Lopez had hollowed out the compartment on the center console or if he merely covered a stow away space created by the manufacturer, officials said.
