Jenna Elfman Replaces Parker Posey on NBC's Growing Up Fisher

Jenna Elfman has joined the cast of NBC's Growing Up Fisher, the network announced Tuesday.

Elfman, best known for her role in Dharma & Greg, replaces the previously cast Parker Posey, who exited the project after the network ordered it to series. Elfman most recently starred in NBC's canceled White House comedy 1600 Penn.

In the comedy, a son (Eli Baker) who idolizes his blind father (J.K. Simmons) and is bemused by his mother (Elfman), watches his family become closer post-divorce.

'Til Death's D.J. Nash will write and executive-produce the comedy. Arrested Development's Jason Bateman will also serve as an executive producer.

Growing Up Fisher premieres midseason on NBC.
