Have you heard that your body burns more calories in the sunshine? Well, that's probably not true, but let's just pretend that Science has decreed such a thing, because it's almost lovely out and there's lots of good eatings to be had this week. Here's where you should be stuffng your face:

On Monday, Chelsea newcomer The Monarch Room is launching a new monthly wine dinner series. The inaugural meal comes with wine pairings courtesy West Coast vinter Domaine Serene—the four-course meal includes delectable dishes like lobster and scallop crudo with brown butter and citrus, and roast suckling pig with fava bean puree. The dinner runs a steep $175-a-person, but the food here is killer if you're looking for a special weekday kickoff treat; the meal starts at 7 p.m., and you can make a reservation through the restaurant.

If you happen to be in Midtown at noon on Tuesday, HinoMaru Lucky Cat is kicking off a special weekly super-cheap ramen and beer deal, lasting through the month of May. From noon to 1 p.m., you can score the restaurant's signature Shoyu Ramen, along with an Asahi beer, for a mere $3—the deal only applies to the first 50 customers, though, so rush out of the office ASAP if you can.

Also on Tuesday, The Peacock in Midtown will host the first night of its new Whisky Club, pairing a selection of Dalmore whiskies with a three-course prix fixe menu. The meal starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs $65-a-person; you can make a reservation by calling the restaurant.

And on Thursday, Cull & Pistol in Chelsea Market will celebrate its one year anniversary with a special 6-course tasting dinner, with seasonal items pulled from parent company The Lobster Place. Expect oysters, razor clams, soft shell crabs and other under-the-sea goodies to make up the $58.13 meal—you can also opt for an additional wine pairing for $35. Make a reservation by calling the restaurant.
