CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) — A driver and passenger have life-threatening injuries after being ejected from a vehicle on Battlefield Boulevard on Wednesday night.
According to police, around 10:20 p.m. officers responded to the 3200 block of Battlefield Boulevard for a single-vehicle crash. After investigating, officers learned a vehicle traveling southbound ran off the road and into a ditch.
The driver was transported by Nightingale to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the passenger was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Chesapeake Police Department's Crash Reconstruction team is investigating. No further information has been released about this crash.
