8 bank robbery suspects indicted

On Tuesday, eight bank robbery suspects were indicted for their roles in bank robberies that occurred in and around Omaha, Fremont, and Malmo, NE.

James Charles Fentress Dismuke (20), Jonathan Ramone Franklin (33), Vincent L McGee (27), and Corita Yvonne Burnett (44) were indicted for their execution of a bank robbery that occurred on November 22, 2017 at a Security Home Bank location in Malmo, NE.

Warren Dwayne Vasser (44), Warren Dwayne Copeland (27), and Angelo C. Douglas (25) were indicted for their execution of a bank robbery that occurred on November 15, 2017 at a First State Bank location in Fremont, NE.

Wayne Davante Lamar Rolling (24) was indicted for his involvement in a series of bank robberies that occurred in Hy-Vee Supermarket locations around the Omaha area to include to SAC Federal Credit Unions and First National Bank locations in these supermarket locations.

The Omaha Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in conjunction with FBI Greater Omaha Bank Robbery Task Force (GOBRTF), Omaha Police Department, Saunders county Sheriff’s Office, Fremont Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Wahoo Police Department, Yutan Police Department, and other task force members were instrumental in the successful apprehension of these suspects. "This should be an overwhelming signal to everyone that through the incredible partnerships we have with our other law enforcement partners, we have the best of the best working tirelessly to stop these acts in our community,” Special Agent in Charge Randall Thysse of the FBI Omaha Field Office stated. “The FBI Greater Omaha Bank Robbery Taskforce is the culmination of talented law enforcement professionals who are dedicated to bringing these types of individuals to justice, and they prove that this partnership works.”

The FBI Greater Omaha Bank Robbery Task Force is comprised of federal, state, and local law enforcement partners including the Omaha Police Department, Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, The Pottawattamie County Sherriff’s Office, Bellevue Police Department, Papillion Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Ralston Police Department, Council Bluffs Police Department, and La Vista Police Department.
