The next game based on the popular anime, Dragon Ball is about to release.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot may look like another anime fighting game, but Bandai Namco is bringing a ton of RPG elements to give gamers a brand-new experience in the world of Dragon Ball.
Here's the publisher's official synopsis for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot:
Relive the story of Goku and other Z Fighters in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and others. Explore the new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with other heroes from the DRAGON BALL Z universe.

WHAT TIME CAN YOU DOWNLOAD DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT?
The official PlayStation Store listing for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot does not give a specific time for when it's available, but past series game releases were available to download around 12 a.m. EST on Friday, January 17.
Of course, this means those those on the West Coast can technically start playing on Thursday, January 16
DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT PRE-ORDER BONUSES
Pre-ordering Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gives you a few bonuses. If you pre-order a digital copy, players will receive a Cooking Item that offers permanent Melee ATK and HP stat boosts, an extra sub-quest and an Early Unlock to a Training Menu that allows you to fight Bonyu, a new Character created by the author, Akira Toriyama.
The Deluxe Edition features not only the digital pre-order bonus, but another Cooking Item that offers permanent Ki-ATK and HP Stat boosts and the Season Pass. The Season Pass adds two original episodes and one new story.
And then there's the Ultimate Edition which comes with the game and the following bonuses:
・A Cooking Item that grants permanent Ki-ATK, Ki-DEF and HP Stat boosts
・Season Pass (two original episodes and one new story)
・DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT - MUSIC COMPILATION PACK (11 additional songs from the anime, available Spring 2020)
・The Tao Pai Pai Pillar (available Spring 2020)
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases January 17 for PS4 and Xbox One.
