Rail passengers travelling through west London on Tuesday (September 19) should expect cancellations and delays to services.

Operator Southern has blamed a lack of availability of train drivers for the disruption, which is expected to last until 5pm.

All routes between East Croydon and Milton Keynes Central "may be subject to disruption", says Southern, and numerous services have been cancelled.

It follows similar disruption on Monday (September 18), also blamed on a lack of staff.

There have also been unconfirmed reports of a security alert in Hammersmith.
