Major Accident Stalls Traffic on Beaver Ruin in Norcross
The accident on Beaver Ruin Road will cause traffic backups and detours for the next hour to hour and a half, according to a Nixle alert.

The incident turned out to be an officer-involved accident on Beaver Ruin Road involving one other vehicle.
The officer was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for minor injuries.

Norcross Police are advising drivers to take an alternative route instead of Beaver Ruin Road and Pinnacle Way because of a major car accident.
According to a Nixle alert sent out at 8:36 a.m., the accident will cause traffic backups and detours for the next hour and hour and a half. Police are conducting an accident investigation.
Brook Hollow Parkway in the city of Norcross is an alternate route, the message says.
