Rodger Dwight Rebsom

Rodger Dwight Rebsom passed away, at the age of 58, on April 3, 2018, of natural causes in Midland, Texas, where he had been working. He resided in Casper, Wyoming.

Rodger was born on June 2, 1959, in Dickinson, North Dakota, the son of Edward R & Katherine Rebsom. Rodger grew up on a farm SE of Manning, North Dakota, with his three sisters and three brothers. He attended school in Killdeer.

"Rodg" loved spending time fishing, hunting game, rock climbing, and metal detecting with his dogs. He was also an avid card player.

He worked for a short time at a service station, and then began his life-long career in the oil field. His career took him to North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Pennsylvania and Texas. Rodger was well liked by all that knew him and he had many, many lifelong friends. He always had a new joke to tell you. He will be missed by all.

Rodger is survived by his daughter Jami Rebsom (Jason Shanley) and by his two granddaughters, Everly & Anastasia Shanley from Livingston, Montana. He is survived by sisters: Dee Stroh, Dickinson and Sandra (Richard) Tuhy, Manning and by his brother, Al (Carol) Rebsom, Billings, Montana, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rodger was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Katherine Rebsom;

Brothers, John Rebsom and Kenneth Rebsom, sister Rita Rebsom, and brother-in-law David Stroh.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
