If Public Enemy's Flavor Flav's music career suddenly goes down the pan, he might have just found himself a backup job.

The rapper appeared on Salt Lake City's Fox 13 show and updated everyone on the local weather around Utah.

He obviously performed a rhyme for the segment: "I'm really here — you know what I'm saying? — to bring y'all the weather not only for the good, but for the better."

For those who are wondering, it looked like it was going to be a nice day, with the rapper predicting: "The weather's gonna be kind of good today, you know what I'm saying."

He also presented the pet segment, where he tried to help find a new home for a dog named Patch.

Being a weatherman doesn't sound quite as rock and roll as a rap star, but you never know, with a bit of practice...
