Police searching for women allegedly seen rummaging through Pflugerville mailboxes

Two suspects are being sought in a criminal mischief case that happened toward the end of September in Pflugerville.

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Pflugerville police are seeking the community's assistance in identifying two women who are accused of breaking into mailboxes.

On Sept. 29 police observed that several mailboxes had been pried open and rummaged through at 900 Broken Feather Trail. The two women were identified thanks to images taken during the time of the crime.

Both women are thought to be between 26 to 35 years old and around 5 foot 6 inches, weighing 170 lbs. One woman was seen wearing a "Newsboys" sweatshirt with dark-colored leggings and tennis shoes. The second woman was seen wearing a sweater, dark-colored leggings and tennis shoes.

The vehicle the duo was driving was identified as a silver or gray Nissan.

Neighbors said that they now have to go to the post office to get their mail. One resident whose box was broken into said that they feel safe in the area and that's why they lived there for 18 years, but it's still concerning to them.

"Well like I said we've never been in trouble with nobody here," said Amado Sanchez. "We've been living here 18 years and all my neighbors are pretty friendly."

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division Tip Line at 512-990-6731, or email cidtips@pfluervilletx.gov.
