WATCH: Channing Tatum Leads New York Flash Mob In Stripper Dancing

Most actors do question and answer sessions, appear on TV chat shows and greet fans at the premiere when promoting their new film, but 'Magic Mike' star Channing Tatum proved he was prepared to go the extra mile by showcasing some of his stripping moves in Rockefeller Plaza, New York.

Flanked by scantily clad women he showed off some of the moves that he'd learnt in a previous life as a stripper, before he landed the acting roles that have made him one of Hollywood's up and coming superstars.

The flash mob, which appeared on ABC's The Today Show, saw him rope in co-star Joe Manganiello, who tried appeared to try and seduce outgoing Today Show anchor Ann Curry.

Most prominent however was Tatum, and although he looked to be getting right into 'his performance to 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls, sadly he didn't revert back to his old ways and disrobe.
