Operation Woodsboro Road to Recovery.

That's the name of the fundraiser a teacher in Augusta County is holding to raise money for those in a Texas town she once lived.

Kim Claytor is physical education teacher at Wilson Memorial High School. She once lived in Woodsboro, Texas: a small town where many are left with little after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

Claytor said she wanted to help those who lived there, but wanted to do something instead of collecting items and shipping them down south.

"I figured the easiest route would be to ask for monetary donations," said Clayor. "Bring it all here to Wilson Memorial High School and then we would disperse them a check director to the Lions Club which my friend's father is the president of there in Woodsboro."

Claytor hopes to get help from the surrounding Augusta County schools and community for this fundraiser.

"We're going to run the fundraiser up through the month of September," said Clayor. "We've set a goal for a thousand dollars but any little bit that we can do and send will help Woodsboro."
