Houston High School Football: Week 7 Scores And Highlights

Tonight: Conroe hosts The Woodlands in a district game, Stafford travels to Navasota, and Texas City hosts B.F. Terry.

HOUSTON, TX — The high school football season is heading into the final stretch with less than three weeks to go. Some teams have their eyes on a run at the state playoffs and for other teams, the season can't end soon enough.

One of those teams with an eye on the playoffs is Fort Bend Marshall, who stayed undefeated this season with a 55-0 win over Sharpstown. Mayde Creek lost 28-21 to Katy Taylor, while Clear Springs defeated Dickinson 35-28.

In other action it was Humble winning big over Pasadena with a 62-7 win, Pearland Dawson defeated George Ranch 33-14, Conroe fell to The Woodlands Highlanders, losing 45-13 in a district game. Crosby lost its first game of the season, falling to Santa Fe 27-20, and Pearland won a wild one, defeating plays Strake Jesuit 57-42.

In later games, Waller fell to Magnolia West 50-29, Tomball fell to Lufkin 35-24, while Kinkaid and and Episcopal played to a 7-7 tie.

On Saturday, Katy and Seven Lakes play at noon, while George Bush hosts Elkins at 1 p.m.
