Rooney Mara covers up in a dark jacket during solo outing... as she has yet to confirm she is expecting a child with fiance Joaquin Phoenix

Rooney Mara was covered up when she stepped out alone in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 35-year-old Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - who has not yet confirmed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Joaquin Phoenix, 45 - had on a dark gray jacket over a maternity T-shirt that showed off her midsection.  

The star seemed to be trying to conceal her growing baby bump by putting a beige canvas tote bag in front of her.

Mara added platform sneakers in white by Converse All Star that looked comfortable.

She kept the majority of her famous face hidden behind a white cloth face mask and a pair of black Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Rooney's brunette tresses, which had highlights in the front, were styled up in a casual bun. 

Her engagement ring was in place and she added other dainty jewelry.

Rooney and Joaquin first met on the set of the acclaimed film Her, which premiered in theaters in 2013.

The famous pair did not begin dating until 2016 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017.

Rooney and Joaquin's engagement was confirmed in July 2019 but they have not publicly commented on the reports of the actress' pregnancy.

Last October, Phoenix admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair that Rooney was 'the only girl [he] ever looked up on the internet.'

'We were just friends, email friends. I’d never done that. Never looked up a girl online,' concluded the Academy Award winner.

Mara's older sister Kate Mara, 37, gave birth to her first child, a daughter, with husband Jamie Bell last year.

'She saw how it totally changed Kate’s life and how in love Kate is with her daughter,' an insider told Life & Style.
