Benefit Dinner For Montville 5th Grader Battling Cancer

All proceeds will benefit the boy's family directly.

MONTVILLE, NJ — The Montville Township PBA Local 140 is hosting a benefit dinner for the family of a local fifth grader battling cancer.

Ian Cho, a fifth grader at Valley View Elementary School, has been diagnosed with leukemia. To help offset medical costs, the PBA is sponsoring a beefsteak dinner and silent auction. All donations will benefit the Cho family directly.

The event will be held on May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover. Tickets are $85 each, and include dinner, an open bar and entertainment. There will be a silent auction. Any businesses interested in donating goods or gift certificates for the silent auction should contact Carlo A. Marucci or Kristen DiMaggio Marucci.

Tickets can be purchased by emailing Kristen Marucci (sonrise79@aol.com), and mailing checks to 3 Sunset Court, Montville, NJ 07045 (please write "Montville Fights For Ian" in the memo line). Tickets can also be purchased at police headquarters. You can visit the Facebook event here.
