What the Cluck? Phoenix Suns unveil new food items for 2017-18 NBA season

What the Cluck? That's the name of this ultimate chicken sandwich at Suns games.

Need a non-basketball reason to head out to a Phoenix Suns game this season?

The Suns just provided you one. Actually, they provided you with several.

The team has unveiled new food items at Talking Stick Resort Arena for the 2017-18 season, including a new chicken sandwich that the team calls, "What the Cluck."

Some of the new items and where you can find them (as described by the Suns):

Big Smack ($14)

A new take on brats or is it a new take on burgers?  Brat Burger offers a variety of concoctions including the Big Smack, a double stack of grilled beer brat patties, beer cheese sauce, caramelized onions and cider slaw on butter toasted pretzel bun.  Available at Haus of Brews near section 101. 

Arizona Cheesesteak ($12)

Nocawich’s best seller just went southwest.  The new AZ cheesesteak boasts roasted poblano peppers and spicy chipotle aioli to compliment the caramelized onions, white cheddar sauce and shaved ribeye steak to make it truly PHX.  Available at Nocawich in section 115.

BBQ Nachos ($12)

An elevated version of an arena favorite featuring tortilla chips, “refried” baked beans, pepperjack cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo, jalapenos, choice of meat. Available at Pork in the Fork located near section 104.

Kahlua Pork Sliders ($12)

And you thought Kona Grill just did sushi.  Come and try Hawaiian pulled pork on toasted sweet bun with jalapeno coleslaw and sweet barbecue sauce.  Available at Kona Grill near section 106.

What the Cluck? ($11)

The ultimate chicken sandwich combines fried chicken, maple-Dijon slaw, bread and butter pickles on a parker house roll. Available at Nocawich in section 115.

More items coming:

The Suns will host five "Decade Nights" commemorating the different eras of the Suns history throughout the season.

As part of the festivities on those special theme nights, Talking Stick Resort Arena will feature a special concession item inspired by that era.

60's/70's Night will be Nov. 10, 80's Night will be Dec. 9, 90's Night will be Jan. 12, 2000's Night will be March 2 and the current decade will be April 6.
