Speeding Stop Leads To Half-Pound Of Heroin/Fentanyl: NHSP

CONCORD, NH — State police said troopers conducting a traffic stop for speeding over the weekend found a half-pound of heroin and fentanyl in a vehicle. Edson Wilson, 42, of Augusta, Maine, was arrested on June 15, 2019, and charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute. At around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, a state trooper stopped a vehicle on I-95 in Portsmouth on a speed violation.

During the course of the stop, the trooper "observed evidence of recent drug use within plain view of the vehicle," according to Lt. John Hennessey of Troop A.

"The occupants consented to a roadside search and (the trooper) seized approximately one-half pound of suspected heroin/fentanyl," he stated.

Wilson will be arraigned in Rockingham County Superior Court on June 28. More charges are expected.

Bike Crash Reported In Tamworth

State troopers are asking for the public's help after a woman on a bicycle was struck during a hit-and-run crash on Route 41 in Tamworth. At around 3 p.m. on June 10, troopers were sent to the scene where a bicyclist was struck in the rear tire and flipped. The vehicle – a silver, gray, or white pickup truck – fled the scene. The cyclist suffered minor injuries and was transported from the scene.

Spenser English, 27, of Lee, was arrested on May 30, 2019, on driving after revocation or suspension and suspension of vehicle registration charges on I-95 North in Portsmouth.

Patrick Maley, 18, of Pepperell, MA, was arrested on May 30, on an unlawful possession or intoxication charge on Route 101 in Raymond.

Richard Jacques, 31, of Lebanon, ME, was arrested on May 29, on an operating after certification as a habitual offender charge on I-95 North in Hampton after the liquor store. Also arrested was James Henaire, 54, of Sanford, Maine, on arrest prior to requisition.

Izaak Ruel, 28, of Barrington, was arrested on May 29, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge on Route 9.

David Cormier, 25, of Milton, was arrested on a domestic violence-stalking charge. Also arrested was Caitlynn O'Malley, 23, of Rochester, on an indecent exposure/gross lewdness charge. They were arrested on May 27, at the Rochester park and ride.

Kyle Byrd, 22, of Londonderry, was arrested on May 27, on a driving under the influence charge and stop signs; yield signs violation on Route 101 West just east of Landing Road in Hampton.

Bradley Friedman, 24, of Stratham, was arrested on May 27, on a fugitive warrant on May 27, on Route 101 West at I-95 in Hampton.

Michelle Moody, 26, of Portsmouth, was arrested on May 26, on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge on Route 16 in Dover.

Ryan Tripp, 24, of Milton Mills, was arrested on May 26, on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or detention charges on Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth.

Courtney Hewitt, 37, of Manchester, was arrested on May 25, on driving under the influence-second, DUI, and resisting arrest or detention charges as well as a failure to dim lights violation on Route 1010 West near the Route 1 overpass in Hampton.

Lauren Renaud, 38, of Watertown, Massachusetts, was arrested on May 25, on aggravated DUI – 30+ mph, aggravated DUI – 0.16+, driving under the influence, and DUI-adult greater than 0.08 charges on I-95 South in Seabrook.

Jennifer Bramlett, 35, of Somersworth, was arrested on May 25, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent and disobeying an officer on the Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth.

Matthew Mastroianni, 20, of Townsend, was arrested on May 25, on a reckless operation charge on Route 16 South in Rochester.

Michael McNamara, 30, of Dover, was arrested on May 25, on aggravated DUI-30+ mph, driving under the influence, speeding – 26+ mph over the 55 limit, disobeying an officer, and reckless operation charges as well as a stop signs; yield signs violation on Route 16 North.

Michael Case, 18 of Watertown, was arrested on May 24, and charged with transport of alcohol by a minor and unlawful possession of alcohol/intoxication on I-95 North in Hampton on May 24. A 17-year-old runaway from Watertown, MA, was taken into custody by state police.

Gregory Leighton, 21, of Methuen, MA, was arrested on May 24, on a driving under the influence charge on Ashworth Avenue in Hampton.

Zachary Troup, 27, of Rochester, was arrested on May 24, on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge on Route 16 South in Dover.

Matthew Anderson, 29, of Milton, was arrested on May 24, on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge on Route 16 South near Exit 12 in Rochester.

Jamie Phontharaksa, 30, of Somersworth, was arrested on May 24, on Route 16 North in Newington on DUI and DUI-adult greater than 0.08 charges.

Gregory Smith, 29, of Manchester, was arrested on May 29, on driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, unregistered vehicle, and breach of bail charges on I-93 South in Derry.

Erica Ferguson, 28, of Chelmsford, MA, was arrested on May 28, on driving after revocation or suspension and uninspected vehicle charges on the Everett Turnpike North in Nashua.

On May 27, an Amesbury, MA, woman was taken into protective custody for alcohol in Londonderry.

Andrew Mendes, 32, of Lowell, MA, was arrested on May 26, on aggravated DUI – 0.16+, aggravated DUI – 30+ mph, DUI, and reckless operation charges on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua.

Kirsten Porter, 26, of Concord, was arrested on May 29, on driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, disobeying an officer, and failure to use required turn signal charges as well as a bench warrant on I-89 South in Enfield.

A 17-year-old from Hooksett was arrested on May 25, on I-93 South in Bow on an operating without a valid license charge.
