RAWSON — Deborah S. Watkins, 58, of Rawson, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the comfort of her own home after a courageous fight with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
Deb was born on October 25, 1959 in Fostoria, Ohio to Fred and Beatrice (Brady) Fraley. She married Lynn Watkins on May 18, 1996 on the steps of their home in Rawson and he survives in Rawson. Also surviving is her mother Beatrice (Ernie) Pignona of Franklin, North Carolina; children: Bridgette (John) Pardee and Brad (Aubrey Sopher) Kear both of Findlay, granddaughter Sophia and sisters: Jenny (Ramon) Fraley-Scott and Becky (Mike) Hopple both of Fostoria. Deb was preceded in death by her father Fred and a sister Linda Dillon.
Deb worked for the Roppe Corporation for 33 years and was a 1978 graduate of Fostoria High School. Deb loved gardening, especially her roses, and canning. In her spare time she enjoyed doing word searches, oil painting and ceramics. She was an excellent cook that could make anything delicious and was affectionately known as the Rachel Ray of Rawson.
Visitation for Deb will be on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00-5:00 PM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Deb's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 12 noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Knollcrest Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be gifted in Deb's honor to Cancer Patient Services or the American Cancer Society.
