Participating stores included the ones in Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Newburgh and Monroe.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Team members from ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. presented a check recently for $125,000 to representatives from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, whose mission is to provide lifesaving and life-changing care to children throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. ShopRite stores throughout Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties in New York, and Sussex County in New Jersey, collected donations at checkout from February 19 through March 4.

The funds will support the hospital’s mission to provide advanced pediatric care to thousands of local children each year.

Customer service managers from the top fundraising stores that participated in the fundraiser – ShopRite of Tuckahoe Road, Vails Gate, and Scarsdale – were on-hand to present the donation.
