SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Three people were hospitalized Friday night after a crash in Van Buren County.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. on M-140 near 24th Avenue south of South Haven.

South Haven Area Emergency Services responded to a two vehicle, head-on crash.

Authorities say three people inside the car were trapped and injured. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. 

Responders worked for nearly an hour freeing the entrapped occupants who were taken to hospitals by ambulance and Aero Med.

Authorities have not released information on what lead up to the crash, or the conditions of those involved.

This crash remains under investigation.
