VIENNA — Hibbett Sports, a national chain of athletic goods, has opened at the Grand Central Mall in Vienna.

The Birmingham, Ala.-based company is among the fastest growing retailers in the country, a press release states. The company has more than 1,000 stores in 35 states. Hibbett Sports also has a store in Marietta at the Lafayette Center just off Pike Street, in Athens at 975 E State St. and in Ripley at 126 McGraw St.

Among the brands the store carries are Nike, Under Armour, The North Face, Adidas and Brooks. It sells licensed fan gear from MLB, NFL, NBA and NCAA teams. Hibbett Sports also offers a selection of athletic apparel and equipment and focuses on local teams and leagues with services to meet the needs of coaches and players.
