Belle Tire has promoted Don Barnes III to the position of president of retail operations. Previously, Barnes served as vice president of retail operations.

Barnes will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at all retail stores. “The continued success of the company is my highest priority,” said Barnes. “We want to have an even greater impact than years past, and I look forward to creating more growth and opportunities here at Belle Tire.”

He is the third generation of Barnes, beginning with his grandfather, Don Barnes Sr. and, most recently, his father, Don Barnes Jr. to work for Belle Tire. According to the company, the Barnes family purchased a
portion of Belle Tire in the 1960s and in the early 1980s became the sole owners.

Lane Appointed New Plant Manager of Continental New Braunfels

Continental announced Brandon Lane has taken over as the plant manager of its New Braunfels, Texas, facility. The New Braunfels plant, which opened in September 2022, is an integral part of Continental’s global network, specializing in the manufacturing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) products.
