LOGAN COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Troopers with the West Virginia State Police, along with the Logan County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a string of armed robberies in the county.

According to State Police, three armed robberies and one unarmed robbery have plagued the county just in the last two weeks.

The robberies have taken place at the Tobacco & Lottery Express in West Logan, the Little General Store in Logan, the Dollar General in Pecks Mill, and at the Saveway Foods south of Logan.

The unarmed robbery took place at the Little General Store and has led to an arrest.

State Police say that at each robbery, an undetermined amount of money was taken from each crime scene.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the robberies.

State Police say there are persons of interest in the armed robberies, but no additional arrests have been made yet.

State Police emphasize that they are currently treating the robberies as separate incidents.

Troopers with the West Virginia State Police and the Logan County Sheriff’s Department are investigating these crimes.
