Cloud County Community College hosting Netflix star; location changed

CONCORDIA — The location has changed for Neflix series star Brittany Wagner's talk in Concordia.

Wagner, star of the series "Last Chance U," will speak at 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Brown Grand Theatre, 310 Sixth, as part of Cloud County Community College's Cook Lecture Series.

Wagner, an athletic academic counselor and life coach, was featured on the series' first two seasons. She helped more than 250 football and men’s basketball athletes reach the next level.

Her company, 10,000 Pencils, or 10KP, works directly with school programs over a five- or 10-month period, engaging with selected at-risk student-athletes, helping manage various aspects of their lives.
