Harvey Langi’s wife shares an emotional update after the couple’s car accident
Three days after they were involved in a serious car accident, Patriots linebacker Harvey Langi and his wife, Cassidy, have been reunited. Cassidy posted a video of their teary meeting on Instagram, with a lengthy caption detailing the traumatic incident and thanking everyone for their support. The clip shows Harvey entering her hospital room on crutches before hobbling over to his college sweetheart’s bed for a long embrace.
“I just want my husband Havea to know how blessed I am to be your wife,” Cassidy wrote. “I know this is a huge trial we will be facing, but I know we can get through this together, day by day. Thank you for always loving me and staying by my side through it all.”

The Langi’s were on their way home from a Friday date night, when an SUV traveling at a high speed rear-ended their vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light. Both Harvey and Cassidy were transported to a local hospital after sustaining serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
“I completely blacked out and don’t remember anything, while Harvey remembers seeing me, his wife, laying lifeless and gushing blood,” Cassidy wrote in her Instagram caption.
Her father told the Deseret News she suffered fractures to both hips and broken ribs, and is also being evaluated for possible internal bleeding and injuries to her liver and spleen. Harvey Langi is reportedly being treated for neck and head injuries.
