Tom was a Civil War history buff and enjoyed classic cars.
Thomas A. Sigel, Sr., 68, of Southington, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at his home.
Born September 3, 1950 in Cumberland, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Camile (Russo) Sigel. Tom was a Civil War history buff and enjoyed classic cars. He loved his grandchildren dearly.
He was the loving father of four children, Thomas A. Sigel Jr. of Cheshire, Shelly Peterson and husband Scott of Wallingford, Sheri Foti and husband Rich of Cheshire and Shelby Wilson and husband Steve of Northford; grandfather of Dylan, Tyler, Meghan, Joshua, Audra, Jacob, Robert, Jenna and Kyle. He is also survived by three brothers, Donald Sigel of FL, John Sigel of Cheshire and Rudlolph Sigel of Waterbury; two sisters, Linda Pakus of MA and Patricia Modica of S. Carolina and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Sigel.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
