Elizabeth Warren talked universal child care, tattoos with 50 Cent and James Corden

After her Monday rally in Glendale, Calif., 2020 presidential candidate and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren made the rounds on numerous California-based shows, including “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Warren was joined on the interview couch by legendary rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.

On the show, Warren shared that her new plan for universal child care was inspired in part by her experience as a mother. Warren told host James Corden that when she was in law school, she struggled to care for her two children while attending class and even considered dropping out of the program until her Aunt Bee flew out to help her.

After Corden brought up 50 Cent’s tattoo removal, the conversation transitioned to multiple of Warren’s supporters who have shown off “nevertheless, she persisted” tattoos — made popular when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell barred Warren from speaking after she read a portion of Coretta Scott King’s 1986 letter on the Senate floor.

She told Corden she had met several women with the tattoo, including a cancer survivor.
