Sexual assault case being investigated at Minnesota residential care facility

A possible sexual assault is being investigated by authorities at a residential care facility in Spicer, Minnesota.

The Kandiyohi Sheriff's Office says deputies were called on Sunday to a residence on Lakeview Drive. They say, when deputies arrived, a man reported that a female acquaintance had been sexually assaulted by a staff member of the residential care facility.

The acquaintance was not a client of the facility, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office added that concerns of neglect toward the residential care home client are also being investigated.
