Willow Grove Man Dies At 26; 'A Caring Person And Loyal Friend'

College student Daniel Gamboa was just 26 when he was killed in an automobile accident earlier this month.

WILLOW GROVE, PA — Daniel A. Gamboa Segura, 26, of Willow Grove, died suddenly on October 5, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Costa Rica on September 10, 1992 to Erick and Yorleny (Segura) Gamboa. He was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School class of 2011 and attended Montgomery County Community College.

Daniel was currently working as a kitchen manager for The Pizza Pub in Hatfield. He was a hard worker who was very dedicated to his job.

Daniel was a caring person and a loyal friend. He loved all sports, especially soccer, and he was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Union.

Daniel also enjoyed riding motorcycles, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents Erick and Yorleny, he is survived by his brother Fabian Gamboa, his sister Valeria Gamboa, and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing from 9:30-11:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, www.chop.edu.
