Car In Fatal South Chicago Hit-And-Run Sought By Police

Chicago police are looking for help in identifying the vehicle that struck and killed a 50-year-old man at 91st and Commercial.

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago police are hoping that someone can help them solve a fatal hit-and-run that occurred last month in the South Chicago neighborhood.

A 50-year-old man was struck and killed by a driver in a black Acura RL in the crosswalk at 91st Street and Commercial Avenue at 10:47 p.m. on Aug. 21, police said in a community alert. After striking the man, the driver of the car headed west on 91st Street and was spotted minutes later headed north on Houston Avenue from 91st.

The Chicago Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crime. Anyone with information on who the vehicle pictured above belongs to should contact them at 312-745-4521.
