Check Out The Trailer For She Dies Tomorrow, Out Soon

She Dies Tomorrow is looking like one of the horror events of the year as far as films go. Featuring a great cast, including Kate Lyn Sheil, Jane Adams, Ken Tucker, Chris Messina, Katie Aselton, Tunde Adebimpe, Jennifer Kim, Josh Lucas, Olivia Taylor Dudley, and Michelle Rodriguez, the film is written and directed by Amy Seimetz. The unique kick to this film is that when a woman maned Amy wakes up knowing that she is going to die the next day, her paranoia spreads to those close to her, and they all follow her descent into madness. You can watch the excellent trailer for She Dies Tomorrow down below.

She Dies Tomorrow Synopsis

"After waking up convinced that she is going to die tomorrow, Amy's carefully mended life begins to unravel. As her delusions of certain death become contagious to those around her, Amy and her friends' lives spiral out of control in a tantalizing descent into madness."

Director Seimetz had this to say about the unique concept of "idealogical contagion" in She Dies Tomorrow: "I was dealing with my own personal anxiety and found I was spreading my panic to other people by talking about it perhaps too excessively –while simultaneously watching a ton of news and watching mass anxiety spreading on the right and left politically. All this while remembering losing my father and many friends, that we all die at some point. We don't know what to do but keep living, realizing the absurdity and tragedy that 'with life comes death.' All stories are about death to me. Carpe Diem, coming of age, sci-fi, horror obviously…. even love stories are about death. That may sound dark, but none of these moments would matter without the finite span of life. If we lived forever, moments of choice would be a dime a dozen. I also love genre movies. And there is an innately a fun 'contagious' element to all of them. The monster or ghost is the plague. Everyone you see in genre film catches the plague and either dies or prevails… for now."
