Used books and costume jewelry will be on sale at the Bridgeton Library, 150 E. Commerce Street, starting Saturday, Feb. 2, at 9 a.m.

The semi-annual sale, conducted by the Friends of the Bridgeton Library, will continue through Feb. 9 during library hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Children’s books will sell for 25 cents; magazines will be 10 cents; paperback books, 50 cents; hardcovers and videos, $1; and large coffee table type books $2-$5 depending on size and condition. Friday and Saturday will be $2 a bag day.

Used jewelry on sale will be priced according to condition and content.

Proceeds from the sale help the Friends group support library activities and the purchase of new books, videos and magazines. The Friends each year provide funds for children’s Library programs, computer maintenance, library staff training and book and other media purchases.
