One of the owners of a Texoma funeral home busted in a drug sting operation in Wichita Falls will spend time in federal prison.

Patrick and America Dudley are the owners of Dudley Funeral Home, which has locations in Waurika and Ryan, and they were both arrested on June 7.

According to the arrest affidavit, Patrick Dudley, 46, met with a Wichita Falls undercover officer to sell him four ounces of cocaine for $3,200.

During the exchange, the officer also said Dudley pulled out several bags of marijuana, which weighed about six ounces and said Dudley also had a digital scale. Dudley pleaded guilty on July 17 to possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

The former Waurika school board member was sentenced to six months in federal prison and three years probation on Tuesday.

Dudley was ordered to report on or before Dec.18 at 2 p.m. and the court recommends the unit in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Four hours after his arrest on June 7, Dudley’s wife, America, was arrested at a home in Clay County after Wichita Falls police and DPS troopers executed an evidentiary search warrant. 

At the home authorities reported finding 4.9 pounds of marijuana, THC oil, edibles and digital scales.

America Dudley arrived at the location while law enforcement searched the home and was arrested. She has said she believes in God’s grace and mercy and that they will learn from all of this.
