She was married for 54 years to the late Julius J. Simon, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary White Knazik, the sister of the late Carl Knazik and the mother-in-law of the late Theodore Pensiero.

She is survived by her children and their partners: Mary Ann Pensiero of Southampton, Jules Simon of El Paso, Texas, Barbara Simon and her companion, Vincent Coppola of Ringoes and Susan Maurice and her husband Michael of Los Angeles; her daughter-in-law, Kate Simon of Taos, N.M.; her brother, Joseph Knazik and his wife Cynthia of Rockville, Md.; her grandchildren, Connor Pensiero of Philadelphia, Rebekah McKay and her husband Ian of Lambertville, Josiah Simon and his wife Kirstin of Eugene, Ore., Jared Simon of Boulder, Colo., Matthew Simon of Baptistown, Katrina Dreyer and her fiancé Darin Price of Barrington and Zachary Julius Dreyer of Everglades City, Fla.; and her great-grandchildren, Soren McKay of Lambertville and Iris Simon of Eugene. She will be greatly missed by her children and many friends for her good humor, deep generous spirit, and warm heart.

The funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victories Church, 1005 Route 519, Baptistown, NJ 08803. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont.

Calling hours on Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville and on Saturday morning at Our Lady of Victories Church from 10 a.m. until the start of services.
