Cops Seek Suspect In Jamaica Bat Attack

Police say Iquwann Quick, 25, brained another man with a bat in Jamaica two weeks ago.

JAMAICA, NY — Police are looking for a man accused of braining another man with a bat in Jamaica two weeks ago. Iquwann Quick, 25, left the victim critically injured in the Oct. 1 attack, the NYPD said.

The two men got embroiled in an argument near 190th Street and Henderson Avenue around 9:45 p.m. that day, police said. Quick approached the 31-year-old and smacked him in the head with a bat, fracturing his skull, according to the NYPD.

Quick fled in an unknown direction and the victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Quick, described as a black man standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 175 pounds, is wanted for questioning about the assault, the NYPD said. He was previously arrested in March and charged with robbery, online court records show.
