[Update: JB Hi-Fi's Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale is now officially over, although a few good offers remain. You can take a look at some of our favourite remaining offers below.]

JB Hi-Fi’s Cyber Monday sale is underway and there are some excellent offers to shop right now. The popular Aussie retailer is discounting MacBook Airs, Google Pixel phones, Roomba robot vacuums, Sonos speakers and so much more.

These offers are for a limited time only, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. So if the price on an item that’s discounted looks like it’s in your budget, consider jumping on it before the Black Friday rush begins.

We’ve also found that retailers such as Amazon and The Good Guys are price-beating some of JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday deals, but rest assured if we’ve seen it cheaper somewhere else, we’ll let you know.

Each deal highlighted below will explicitly state if another retailer has a lower price, and you can even use this to your advantage at JB Hi-Fi because the retailer has a price match policy. To get a price match, you can chat to a support agent on the JB Hi-Fi website, or head in store.

Today’s best JB Hi-Fi Cyber Monday deals

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (2020)M1 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSDAU$1,499AU$1,247

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (2020) | M1 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD | AU$1,499 AU$1,247 (save AU$252)

If you want a powerful MacBook Air without spending top dollar, this model is the one for you. JB Hi-Fi has discounted 2020’s MacBook Air by AU$252, which puts it a little closer to its record low price of AU$1,149 (that price was available via eBay). We rate this as the best laptop for students, but it’s also fantastic for anyone who wants a slick Apple machine without paying a premium.

Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 (7430)i7 / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSDAU$1,999AU$1,495

Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 (7430) | i7 / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD | AU$1,999 AU$1,495 (save AU$504)

JB Hi-Fi is offering stacks of laptop deals for Black Friday, but this AU$500 discount on a 14-inch Dell machine stood out. It’s a 2-in-1 laptop that comes equipped with a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, paired with a massive 1TB SSD. It has a touchscreen and can be folded back completely, so it can be used like a tablet. Now 25% off at JB Hi-Fi.

Philips 34-inch Evnia QD-OLED gaming monitor (34M2C8600)AU$1,799AU$1,399

Philips 34-inch Evnia QD-OLED gaming monitor (34M2C8600) | AU$1,799 AU$1,399 (save AU$400)

We gave this monitor five stars in our Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 review, praising its fantastic image quality and performance. This is a 34-inch 1440p ultrawide monitor, and it offers great response times, gorgeous HDR and beautiful colours. It's even got USB-C with 90W power delivery. This is as good as it gets. One thing we didn’t like about this monitor is its high price, but JB Hi-Fi’s AU$400 discount for Black Friday helps.

PS5 Pulse 3D HeadsetAU$159.95AU$114

PS5 Pulse 3D Headset | AU$159.95 AU$114 (save AU$45)

Apple AirPods (2019, 2nd Gen)AU$219AU$159

Apple AirPods (2019, 2nd Gen) | AU$219 AU$159 (save AU$61)

There was a time when you could snap up a pair of second-gen AirPods for AU$99 on Black Friday, but those deals were always for a limited time and in limited numbers, and often came from eBay. For now, one of the better prices we’ve seen is this offer from JB Hi-Fi, where the AirPods are down to AU$159. It’s worth noting that Amazon has them a dollar cheaper at AU$158, but JB Hi-Fi can price match.

JBL Boombox 3 AU$699AU$499

JBL Boombox 3 | AU$699 AU$499 (save AU$200)

Listen to your favourite tunes on this retro-inspired portable speaker. The JBL Boombox 3 takes the classic boombox and upgrades it for modern listeners in this portable yet big speaker that will bring big sound to your party. Boasting a convenient handle and an IP67 dust and waterproof rating, you'll get up to 24 hours of air time from this speaker before it needs to recharge.

Also available at The Good Guys.

LG 65-inch G3 OLED TVAU$5,295AU$3,485

LG 65-inch G3 OLED TV | AU$5,295 AU$3,485 (save AU$1,810)

This premium LG OLED uses Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology to help better distribute light, resulting in improved contrast and greater brightness. The result is LG’s G3 helps to bridge the gap between OLED TVs and their LED counterparts. Overall, you can expect incredible picture quality and unbeaten gaming performance. JB’s price is great, but you can get it a little cheaper from Bing Lee’s official eBay store – just use the code HGTNOV at checkout.

Samsung 65-inch S90C OLED TVAU$4,295AU$2,885

Samsung 65-inch S90C OLED TV | AU$4,295 AU$2,885 (save AU$1,410)

The Samsung S90C has been named the best TV of 2023 (according to us, anyway) and it’s now deeply discounted at JB Hi-Fi, saving you just over AU$1,400. This QD-OLED is stunningly bright and offers contrast-rich pictures, along with excellent gaming support. We’ve found this 65-inch TV is actually quite a bit cheaper on the official eBay store of The Good Guys, you just need to enter the code HGTNOV to get it for AU$2,803.

Google Nest Hub MaxAU$349AU$275

Google Nest Hub Max | AU$349 AU$275 (save AU$74)

The Google Nest Hub Max has a 10-inch LCD touchscreen, which is great for making video calls, watching YouTube, or following step-by-step recipes while you cook. It has a good, music-friendly speaker too, which isn’t always the case with smart displays. Google Assistant is front and centre, so you can use the Nest Hub Max to control connected Nest security devices, smart lights, TVs and more. It was down to AU$269 during Black Friday last year, but we’re unsure if we’ll see that price again.

Google Nest Wifi Mesh System (3-Pack) | AU$379 AU$249

Google Nest Wifi Mesh System (3-Pack) | AU$379 AU$249 (save AU$130)

Google's more-affordable mesh-networking kit offers an easy way to blanket a wide area with wireless coverage – and with AU$130 off, it's hit a new all-time low price for Black Friday 2023. Specs wise, this is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (or 802.11ac) set that's capable of combined transfer speeds of up to 2,200Mbps. While there are faster kits out there, we loved its simple setup and app integration, giving it 4.5/5 in our review. Worth a look if you want comprehensive Wi-Fi without the high cost.

Garmin Epix (Gen 2, Sapphire)AU$1,699from AU$847

Garmin Epix (Gen 2, Sapphire) | AU$1,699 from AU$847 (save up to AU$852)

One of the most advanced multi-sport watches around, we gave it 4.5 stars in our Garmin Epix (Gen 2) review for good reason. Practically perfect GPS and maps, advanced fitness tracking, plenty of metrics and a stunning AMOLED display. It all costs a pretty penny though, so when you can snap it up for under a grand, we'd say it's a good bargain.

iRobot Roomba i3AU$999AU$499

iRobot Roomba i3 | AU$999 AU$499 (save AU$500)

Going for half price, this robot vacuum will do a decent job on your hard floors and carpets. It's not the strongest Roomba in iRobot's arsenal, but at AU$499 it's not a bad option at all. This is not the 'Plus' model, so doesn't come with the auto-empty dock, and it doesn't mop either. But it maps and navigates accurately and will clean your floors without too much fuss.

iRobot Braava Jet M6AU$999AU$499

iRobot Braava Jet M6 | AU$999 AU$499 (save AU$500)

Already have a robot vacuum but would like a specialist mopping bot? This Braava Jet M6 does just that – only mop – and does a good job. And it's available for half price at JB Hi-Fi right now. Like the Roombas, the Braava also maps and navigates well, and you can set keep-out zones if you want a particular spot at home not to be mopped.

When will the best Black Friday JB Hi-Fi deals start in 2023?

Black Friday falls on November 24 this year and Cyber Monday follows on November 27, making an extended Black Friday sale. The best Black Friday JB Hi-Fi deals will likely be available during this period, but judging from what we’ve seen in previous years, we think it’s possible that the retailer will offer some early Black Friday discounts about a week before the sale officially begins.

What Black Friday JB Hi-Fi deals do we expect to see in 2023?

JB Hi-Fi covers a big variety of tech and appliances, making it a popular choice for Aussie shoppers looking for a bargain. Of everything that JB Hi-Fi offers, its best deals tend to be on TVs, coffee machines and Dyson vacuums. The retailer can also offer great deals on popular headphones from Bose and Sony, though sometimes Amazon will offer a slightly better deal, usually a few dollars cheaper.

Now that the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones have been available for around 18 months, we’re hoping to see a great discount on these popular noise-cancelling cans. During the last Black Friday, JB Hi-Fi dropped their price down to a truly incredible AU$350.10 for one-day only, so we wouldn’t rule out a similar deal this year. Bose has also released some new products of late, including the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, so we’ll be looking for a discount on these as well.

We expect that TVs will be a big part of JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday deals this year, with everything from premium OLEDs to cheaper LEDs going on sale. We think it’s likely that the LG C3 OLED will get a good discount, particularly because the model that came before it, the LG C2 OLED, was such a popular deal last November. Aside from LG, we’re also expecting plenty of discounts on TVs from Samsung, Sony and Hisense.

Last year’s best JB Hi-Fi deals

Image

Lenovo Smart Clock Essential | AU$79 AU$39 (AU$40 off)

This was a very popular deal during JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday sale last year, giving you 50% off the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. JB Hi-Fi tends to offer plenty of discounts on smart home gadgets during Black Friday, and the vast majority are Android-enabled like the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). So if you’re looking for smart home deals, head to JB Hi-Fi in November.

Image

Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook | AU$679 AU$399 (AU$280 off)

JB Hi-Fi slashed 40% off this Lenovo Chromebook during last year’s Black Friday, which was a discount of AU$280. The retailer typically offers a variety of laptops and Chromebooks on sale during Black Friday, so it’s one to watch closely if you want a new device. Keep in mind that Amazon sometimes price matches JB Hi-Fi’s laptop deals.

Image

Samsung 85-inch BU8000 LED 4K TV (2022) | AU$2,995 AU$1,888 (AU$1,107 off)

TVs have historically gotten plenty of discounts during JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday sales, and this was a standout from last year. This huge 85-inch 4K panel was cut down to AU$1,888, which was 35% off the RRP. Considering the size of this TV, we thought it was a fantastic deal. If you’re in the market for a brand-new telly, hold out to see what Black Friday brings.

Image

LG 55-inch C2 OLED TV | AU$3,195 AU$2,495 (AU$700 off)

The LG C2 OLED previously featured on our list of the best TVs, but it’s since been replaced by the LG C3 OLED. While the LG C2 is no longer sold by JB Hi-Fi, the newer C3 OLED is, and we’ve recently seen discounts of up to AU$600 off. Because of this, we think the C3 model is a likely candidate for JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday deals.

Image

Dyson V11 | AU$1,199 AU$979 (AU$220 off)

Dyson’s cordless vacuums don’t come cheap, so you’ll want to look for a deal to save a good chunk of money when picking one up. During the JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday sale last year, the Dyson V11 dropped down to AU$979, but we’ve actually seen it for a lot less this year. Back in May, JB Hi-Fi reduced the price to AU$628, so we’ll be hoping to see that again.
