Not only is Chuck Liddell planning a mixed martial arts comeback, but he’s also been offering training tips to members of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.

“The biggest thing that we try to work with them, technically on is just body-on-body contact, and wrestling guys and getting their balance,” Liddell said.
“The bigger thing that we work on is mindset. Trying to get these guys to treat it like a fight. You’re fighting the guy in front of you and trying to break him mentally and physically.”
Liddell put Browns players various drills during a week-long visit to the team’s offseason camp. Cleveland fullback Danny Vitale explained the benefits of “The Iceman’s” presence.

For Liddell, who recently announced he is coming out of retirement and has been linked to a bout with Tito Ortiz in Oscar De La Hoya’s fledgling promotion, football practice has a familiar feel to it.
“I like the environment. I like being in a training environment,” he said. It’s very focused and working on what you’ve got to do.”
