SPOILER ALERT: He's back! Gotham's villain James Frain returns to set in new armor after shock mid-season finale

He played the villainous character, Theo Galavan, in the first half of Gotham's season two before being violently killed in the fall finale.

And on Thursday, James Frain was spotted back on set in downtown Brooklyn, sporting full body armor and a bloodied face.

While there has been a lot of speculation on if James would return and if so, as who, it appears that he is back on the streets of Gotham City as Azrael, the Order of St. Dumas' greatest warrior.
