Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Capture the awe and exhilaration of the holiday season with the classic story, iconic choreography and soaring score of The Nutcracker.  Following a successful pilot performance last year, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will again present a sensory-friendly performance on Tuesday, December 23 at 2 p.m. Patrons can experience the show in a supportive theater setting designed for those with sensory sensitivities, autism and other special needs. The Rink at PPG Place: Around the holidays, the Plaza between Third and Fourth Avenues transform into The Rink at PPG Place, a spectacular oneof-a-kind outdoor ice skating rink. It

is now through early March. Enjoy an exhilarating holiday tradition as you glide around the breathtaking 65-foot Christmas tree at the plaza. Fee is $8 for adults and $7 for seniors (age 50 and older) and children. Skate rentals are $3 and skate sharpening is $5. Skating lessons are also offered. Don’t miss this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area individuals, organizations, seniors, students and chefs. There is no charge for admission; donations benefit the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Free Care Fund.
