While your Sunday Funday activities consisted of simply sipping mimosas, a small share of special Bostonians indulged in a VIP poolside bash, which was attended by singer Jason Derulo.

As part of 103.3 AMP Radio’s Wet ‘n Wild Summer series, the station held a party — where people could only attend if they won tickets — at a pineapple- and lai-adorned Rooftop@Revere. And it was hosted by none other than Derulo, the man responsible for hits like “In My Head,” “Want to Want Me” and ”Marry Me.”

In addition to crashing on the couches, Derulo sang samples of crowd favorites like “Trumpets,” “Wiggle” and his latest and only slightly suggestive single, “Swalla.”

He hung out with his crew, chilling on a group of couches tucked into a corner of the rooftop. His table was brought bottles of champagne, Hennessy and Grey Goose. Apps, like antipasto and bread, were also laid out for them to nosh. Shirtless, the artist and dancer showed off his famously jacked bod. He also rocked a pair of distressed jean cargos, an acid-treated red hat with matching cherry-colored shoes, and long gold chains.

Derulo showed up a fashionable hour late to the party, giving folks ample time to toss back a chilled drink or five. Before the 27-year-old graced us with his presence, a DJ served up a plate of steaming hot beats. With Boston’s Back Bay in the backdrop, hundreds of 20-somethings congregated to get their summer chill on. The crowd was clad in bikini tops, cut-offs and muscle tees, making anyone old enough to rent a car feel both ancient and desperately in need of a workout.

As of yet, Derulo hasn’t added Boston — or any New England city, for that matter — to his latest tour schedule. So until he comes back to the Hub to give us a full-on show, it’ll have to just go down in our heads.
