Tennis fans have hailed a ball boy at the French Open after he told Fernando Verdasco where to put his empty water bottle.

The Spaniard beat Brit Dan Evans 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 to reach the second round at Roland Garros on Tuesday.

But he also had an encounter with of one of the tournament's ball boys during his clay-court clash.
