While Schofield's fluid playing is often singled out for distinction, it’s also been compared to that of the three Kings -- B.B., Freddie and Albert, along with his acknowledged influences of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. It’s little wonder that the Los Angeles Daily News wrote, “In Schofield, the UK has produced the best Blues guitarist from any country in decades… head and shoulders above the herd.” Or, that the respected English music magazine Mojo recognized him with the Blues Album of the Year. Likewise, it was no accident that the Penguin Book of Blues Recordings cited him as one of only two living British artists to achieve the maximum four-star rating.

In addition to the mainstage performance, patrons are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the Northern Westchester Artists Guild’s art exhibition entitled “Method & Melody” on display in the Center’s lobby.
