In addition to everything we took photos of, there are also trick or treat opportunities, short lines for the rides, as well as the special Happy Hallowishes fireworks. The party is a great time, albeit at a very steep price this year. It runs through Halloween.

What do you think? Attending the party this year? Let us know in the comments below!

Muppets-Great-Moments

Also, keep your eyes open for some new Muppet goodness in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square this weekend, as the Muppets present Great Moments in American History! Officially set to debut on October 2nd.

Great news for all you Muppets fans out there! Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and The Great Gonzo arrive at Magic Kingdom Park on October 2 for the opening of their all-new, live show “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History.” Hosted by James “J.J.” Jefferson, town crier of Liberty Square, and Sam Eagle, the fiercely patriotic American eagle who is forever trying to set a high moral standard for the Muppets, this wacky new show is set to take place several times daily, just outside The Hall of Presidents.

Throughout the day, J.J. and the Muppets share their own unique take on the founding fathers as they recount the tale of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, complete with an original song and plenty of humor. At other times, you may catch the Muppets’ version of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, presented in hysterical fashion as only they can.

Epcot Food and Wine

For those of you headed to Epcot, we wanted to share a bit of information. We’ll have photos from the event for you very soon.

Food-Wine-2015-2

Though there are many different and exciting things going on at any given time at the Walt Disney World resort, the Epcot Food & Wine Festival is a monster hit with guests. You could quickly get overwhelmed with schedules and numerous different experiences.

This year the Festival Center/Welcome Center, located in Future world, is open daily from 9am to park close. Stop by and enjoy cooking demonstrations and wine tastings scheduled through out the day. A fun merchandise shop and a place to rest from the heat of the day make this a favorite destination.

Food-Wine-2015

Located around Epcot’s World Showcase are 30 different Global Marketplaces. These small kiosks serve food offerings not typically offered in the Park. Small plates range in price from $4 to $8 and generally offer a wine and/or beer pairing. Certain kiosks have both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage options. Make sure to grab a Food & Wine Festival Guide Map to help you pick possible favorites.

If you’re enjoying the Festival with young ones, be on the look out for “Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt”. This fun adventure involves looking for little “ Remy” statuettes with maps, stickers and of course prizes. The whole family can enjoy the new concert series “ Eat to the Beat.” Performances are scheduled for 5:30pm, 6:45pm and  8:00pm at the America Gardens Theater.

  • Sept 29th and 30th will showcase “Los Lobos”
  • Oct 1st and 2nd will feature “David Cook”
  • Oct 3rd and 4th will showcase “Wilson Phillips”
  • Oct 5th and 6th will feature “Blues Traveler”
