Woman injured in crash with Spartanburg K-9 SUV, troopers say

A K-9 SUV from the Spartanburg Police Department and another SUV were involved in an accident Monday morning. The crash happened on Reidville Road at Blackstock Road just after 11 a.m. WYFF News 4's Mike McCormick was at the scene. He said the K-9 SUV had damage to the front end and the other SUV was on its side. Troopers said the K-9 SUV was traveling east on Reidville Road and the other SUV was traveling north on Blackstock Road. They said the K-9 SUV was hit in the rear by the other SUV. Police said the officer in the SUV was walking around after the crash. Troopers said he was wearing a seat belt. Officers said the K-9 was also in the SUV and was not injured. Troopers said the 21-year-old driver of the other SUV was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center by EMS.
