You know what your wedding needs? Llamas.
Llamas all dressed up with bowties and little hats as you walk down the aisle with your significant other. A friend with a fluffy shoulder to wipe your tears on.
That's what Mtn. Peaks Therapy Llamas & Alpacas offers to those with weddings or receptions coming up in Portland, Oregon, or nearby Vancouver, Washington, according to KIRO 7. Yes, you have to travel to that other coast if you want to get a llama -- or alpaca -- to accompany you and your loved one on the big day.
Until something similar catches on this side of the country, you can see what these big balls of fluff are up to on Instagram.
Who are these animals, anyway? Well, there are the llamas Rojo, Smokey, Little Charlie Chaplin and Beni; and alpacas Napoleon, Jean-Pierre and Andre. You can find their profiles on the organization's website, which includes more pictures.
It's not all about weddings for the faith-based non-profit organization, however. Mtn. Peaks Therapy Llamas & Alpacas also bring the animals on therapeutic and educational visits to children's hospitals, senior communities, rehabilitation facilities and schools in the region.
