Markelle Fultz wore shoes made of basketballs to the 2017 NBA Draft

Markelle Fultz has a pretty reasonable explanation for his rather awesome choice of footwear to the NBA Draft on Thursday at the Barclays Center.

"I came up with a crazy idea, like, why not put a basketball on my shoe? That's what I love to do. They came up with it and I ended up going with it," Fultz told ESPN.

He most definitely did, wearing a pair of shoes Thursday that looked, well, exactly like a basketball. Take a look.

Fultz was, as expected selected first overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. And yes, he walked across the stage basically wearing basketballs on his feet.
